Hi-Line athletes showcase their talent at Cal Wearley

Chinook's Levi Jensen runs the hurdles at the Cal Wearley Memorial Track Meet this past Saturday. Jensen was one of several athletes from across the Hi-Line who competed and placed at the meet.

The best of the best track and field athletes from across the Hi-Line gathered at the Havre Middle School Track this past Saturday to compete in the Cal Wearley Memorial Track Meet. Over the course of the day, athletes from Fort Benton, Chinook, Big Sandy, Turner, Box Elder, Harlem, Rocky Boy, Chester-Joplin-Inverness, North Star and Hays-Lodge Pole showcased their skills and talents.

In the girls track meet, Chinook finished third with 43 total points. Hallie Neibauer had a strong day for the Sugarbeeters as she finished first in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:29.00. She also finish...
