Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle crash was reported on First Street West at 9:46 a.m. Monday.

A theft was reported Monday at 10:31 a.m. from a business on First Street West.

A Smithville Road caller reported Monday at 11:14 a.m. that tools had been stolen.

An arrest was made after a caller at a First Street business reported at 3:10 p.m. Monday that a woman was acting strangely in the parking lot and officers pursued the suspect on foot. No details on charges were reported in the dispatch log but Josephine Arkinson, who was named as an involved person, is listed in the jail roster as being held on a charge of obstructing a peace officer.

A Monday 4:30 p.m. caller on 16th Street reported that a ladder had been stolen.

Michael Anthony Loren Harris of Havre, 23, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a disturbance was reported Monday at 7:27 p.m. on First Street Northeast.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Jared Charles Gibson or Lodge Pole, 35, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at the District Court Monday at 10:39 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Monday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one kitten of unknown gender, eight male cats, four female cats and one male kitten.

The shelter also held nine mixed-breed dogs, a male 21-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 18-week-old shepherd puppy. Additionally, four 8-week-old shepherd puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
