Havre Police Department

A vehicle crash was reported in a business parking lot on First Street West Friday at 2:03 p.m.

--

Officers were asked Friday at 3:12 p.m. and 3:46 p.m.to assist another agency on First Street.

--

James Martin Flying of Hays, 40, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and probation violation after a vehicle stop on Main Street Friday at 3:57 p.m.

Officers investigated a drug offense while assisting with a medical call on 10th Street Friday at 6:52 p.m

--

Friday at 9:01 p.m., officers were called to a vehicle crash at Town Square where one vehicle was backed into a second vehicle.

Savannah Lee Toms of Havre, 21, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a crash notification system alerted officers Saturday at 2:06 p.m. to a crash on 13th Street.

Lorenzo Jace Johnson of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of children and minor in possession and three 16-year-olds were each issued a summons on charges of MIP and juvenile curfew violations after two callers on 11th Street reported juveniles outside Sunday at 2:50 a.m. making a lot of noise.

Chad Allen Wagner of Havre, 27, was issued a summons on charges of shoplifting and trespass to property after a caller at a First Street business reported a theft Sunday at 12:17 p.m.

A summons was issued after a Sunday 5:50 p.m. report of a person on Eighth Street being bitten by a dog.

--

A bike was reported found in a yard on 14th Avenue Sunday at 7:19 p.m.

--

A Sunday 10:05 p.m. report of a water main break on Lincoln Avenue was referred to public works.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 14-year-old from Gildford was issued a summons on a theft charge after a shoplifter was reported Friday at 5:32 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Deputies investigated a Saturday 11:54 a.m. report of an assault on 11th Street North.

Deric John Neufeld of Havre, 48, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a 70th Avenue West caller asked Saturday at 1:10 p.m. for assistance removing an intoxicated man from the house.

Denise Michelle Peters of Heart Butte, 55, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell and possession of dangerous drugs and on two Justice or City court warrants after deputies were called at 3:19 p.m. Saturday to assist another agency at Fresno Road and U.S. Highway 87.

Deputies investigated suspicious activity reported Saturday at 3:59 p.m. about one mile out on Washington Avenue.

A Saturday 4:07 p.m. call about a pickup truck hitting a tree on U.S. Highway 2 West was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

--

Paige Marrs Young of Kremilin, 33, was arrested on charges of DUI, reckless driving and speeding during a Saturday 7:21 p.m. vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 West.

Deputies investigated an assault reported by Rocky Boy Police Department Sunday at 1:09 a.m in Box Elder.

Barbara Arvillarose Gardipee of Rocky Boy, 30, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and Elliot James Theboy of Deer Lodge, 37, was arrested on a parole violation and a Justice or City court warrant after deputies were called Sunday at 9:10 a.m. to assist another agency on West Bench.

Miles Royce Denny of Box Elder, 35, was arrested on a probation violation warrant served at Hill County Detention Center at 12:44 a.m. today.

Montana Highway Patrol

A 1:41 p.m. Friday call to Hill County Sheriff's Office dispatch about a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 87 just across the county line into Chouteau County was referred to Montana Highway Patrol. No one was available for comment on the crash but county and MHP dispatch reports say that a small truck with one occupant was involved in a roll-over crash near mile marker 89. The vehicle occupant was reported injured in the crash.

Troopers also were called to an ATV rollover on 13th Street West Sunday at 11:12 a.m. Trooper Toby Hilty said the passenger of the vehicle was ejected and the driver was partially ejected. The injuries, he said, were not severe, but both occupants were transported to the hospital. The cause of the crash was careless driving, he added, and citations were issued.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency Medical technicians responded to two calls Friday, three calls Saturday and two calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded with the ambulance to a vehicle crash on 13th Street at 2:10 a.m. Saturday and a crash at U.S. Highway 2 and County Road 800 Northwest at 4:07 p.m. Neither crash required patient transport.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm on the 1300 Block of Jefferson Avenue Sunday at 8:13 a.m. They got the alarm turned off, but not reset and the building manager was tasked with contacting the company for assistance on repairs.

Firefighters responded with the ambulance to a Sunday 11:18 a.m. report of a vehicle crash on 13th Street West where two people were transported to the hospital.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one 8-week-old kitten of unknown gender, seven male cats, four female cats and one male 22-week-old kitten.

--

The shelter also held nine mixed-breed dogs, a male 18-week old mixed breed puppy, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 8-month old Labrador retriever. Additionally, four 9-week-old shepherd puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
