Havre Police Department

A caller from Fifth Street at 8:15 a.m. Thursday reported someone had broken their windshield.

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller from 11th Street and Fifth Avenue reported at 8:27 a.m. Thursday a German shepherd was sitting in the road with a broken back leg.

A caller from the 200 Block of Montana Avenue reported finding a bicycle.

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller from a business on the 1100 Block of First Street West reported at 10:57 a.m. Thursday that two people were panhandling.

A caller from American Legion Park on 11th Avenue reported at 3:26 p.m. Thursday finding a wallet.

--

Officers making a motor vehicle stop at 8:27 p.m. Thursday on the 1000 Block of First Street arrested Trevor Lane Harwood of Havre, 26, on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence.

Officers issued a written or verbal warning after a caller from Lincoln Avenue at 12:26 this morning made a noise complaint about a barking dog.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Hill County Sheriff's Office reported no arrests or investigations Thursday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one 8-week-old kitten of unknown gender, six male cats, four female cats and one male 23-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held four male and five female mixed-breed dogs, a female 21-week old mixed breed puppy, a male 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy. Additionally, four 10-week-old shepherd puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.

Births

A boy was born April 26, 2023, to Makenna Cody and Loren Floren.
