Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Kale Reno

In the Havre Northstars' first home games of the year, Kale Reno helped the Northstars go 3-1 this past weekend. In his lone start at pitcher for the Northstars, Reno won as he allowed two hits, no runs, four walks and he recorded eight strikeouts. He also did well at the plate as he recorded a .364 batting average and two RBIs. He also scored two runs for the Northstars.

Avery Carlson

At the Frenchtown Tournament this past weekend, Avery Carlson helped the Havre High softball team go 3-1 and improve its record to 11-2 this season. Across four games for the Blue Ponies, Carlson recorded a .533 batting average, five RBIs and a home run. She also ran the bases well as she scored six runs for the Ponies over the course of the weekend.
