Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle crash was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Wednesday at 6:29 a.m.

Tiffany Daniella Cowan of Havre, 37, was arrested on a criminal contempt charge after arriving at the police station at 8:21 a.m. Wednesday, late for a 247 Sobriety Program check-in.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street business reported Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. finding evidence on video of a theft.

--

A Wednesday 7:31 p.m. caller reported a bike was stolen from their backyard on Second Street.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Ninth Avenue Northwest caller reported three juveniles were on the caller's property.

--

A protection order violation was reported Wednesday at 9:24 p.m. on Boulevard Avenue.

Officers assisted Montana Highway Patrol on First Street West at 10:13 p.m. Wednesday.

Havre police received several complaints of loose, aggressive, found and lost dogs, along with a complaint of animal abuse, in the 24-hour reporting period.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A written or verbal warning was issued after three dogs were reported getting into livestock in the area of County Road 801 at 6:56 p.m. Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held seven male cats and three female cats.

The shelter also held 10 mixed-breed dogs, five mixed-breed puppies from 22-weeks- to 9-months-old and three 8-week-old mixed-breed puppies. Additionally, one female 8-week-old mixed-breed puppy, three 11-week-old shepherd puppies and a male mixed-breed dog were being housed off-site.
