City dealing with water main break on First Street

City of Havre Public Works Department reports it is dealing with a water main break on the 700 Block of First Street, by the viaduct and Char’s Family Dining and Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods.

"We are working on getting the break taken care of and services restored at this time," the department said in a release.

The release said that repair of the break will involve some lane closures and traffic rerouting on First Street, so people are asked to be aware of this and watch for men and equipment in the area, adding that it will provide updates on its Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089297250715 as they become available.

"Thank you for your attention and understanding in this situation," the release added.
