Park board discusses cabin inspections, new lodge

The Hill County Park Board met Monday evening and discussed potential changes to cabin inspections and compliance, plans for the new Beaver Lodge at Camp Kiwanis and the park’s budgets, and they delayed their officer elections until potential new board members are seated.

Board members debated how strict compliance for cabins should be enforced in the context of ownership transfers and who should be responsible for potential violation, but all the transfers on the agenda were eventually approved.
