Despite rain throughout the past week, Golfing for a Cure Tournament and other local golf tournaments were able to push through and hold competition.
I know Havre got a lot of rain last week, but I also know ya’ll got a lot of awesome golf in as well.
The annual Golfing for a Cure Tournament was moved from Saturday to Sunday, where much, much better weather made for an excellent day. As I’ve stated many times, this was always my favorite tournament for so many reasons, and judging from the photos I saw, it was an awesome turn out yet again.
Unfortunately, conditions at Beaver Creek Golf Course weren’t as favorable. After 1.5 inches of rain, the Chester Swim Team Tournament had to be postponed Saturday.
