After a couple weeks away, Terek Shipp and the Havre Northstars return to Legion Field with a doubleheader tonight against the Lewistown Redbirds. The Northstars are looking to improve on their record of 16-13-1 this season.
After rough sledding at the Harold Gjerde Memorial Tournament this past weekend, the Havre Northstars American Legion baseball club will look to rebound at Legion Field tonight. The Northstars will play the Lewistown Redbirds in a conference doubleheader, so Havre head coach Patch Wirtzberger expects some tough battles tonight.
“Lewistown is a good conference opponent,” Wirtzberger said. “Conference games always take the intensity up a notch so I would expect them to be ready. It’s going to be a good challenge for us.”
The Northstars and the Redbirds have already faced each other this season....
