Obituary - Patricia Eilene (Green) Dolphay

Patty Green Dolphay, 61, passed away June 25th, 2023.

Patty was born August 22nd, 1961, in Malta to Donald and Elizabeth "Bobbie" Green and grew up in Wagner. She attended school in Wagner and later Malta, graduating from Malta High School.

Patty married her high school sweetheart Calvin Kolczak Jr. after high school, and started a family in Landusky, MT. Eventually, Patty separated from Calvin and moved to Havre and attended college at Northern Montana College, earning her BA in business, which she later was able to convert into a business education degree.

While in Havre, Patty met and later married Randy Dolphay.

Patty taught in several schools including Dodson and Frazer, MT. Patty loved her students and cared for all of them as if they were family. After retiring from teaching, Patty settled in Dodson to take care of her family.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Bobbie Green, and her in-laws Herman and Alice Dolphay.

She is survived by her husband Randy Dolphay, her children, Charles (Christy) Kolczak, Greg Dolphay, Samantha (Josh) Salveson and Bobby Dolphay, her brother, Donny (Becky) Green; sisters, Lynaya Green, Arlene (Ken) Bigby, and Marg (Paul) Yaroslaski; granddaughter, Sonya McMahan; great-grandson, James McMahan, and lots of extended family.

It was Patty's wish that no funeral services be held. Patty has been cremated and the family will spread her ashes at a later date.
