For the second time in as many weeks, the Havre High golfers were on the course at the Sidney Country Club. But the last trip was the end of the line for the Ponies, as they played in the Class A State Tournament Friday and Saturday.

Havre didn’t qualify in the boys or girls team races so the Ponies had just individual scores. On the boys side, Havre was led by Reid Kato, who placed an outstanding 25th overall after shooting rounds of 87-82. Kato was making his second straight appearance at state.
