Havre Police Department

A summons was issued after a caller at Havre Middle School reported a juvenile with a vape device Friday at 8:54 a.m. No details were provided on the charges.

A hit and run vehicle crash was reported Friday at 9:01 a.m. on 13th Street.

--

An Eighth Avenue caller reported Friday at 10:06 a.m. that an air compressor was stolen out of their backyard.

--

A 3:39 p.m. Friday caller reported their Second Street garage had been vandalized with spray paint.

--

Gordon James Bacon of Box Elder, 44, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest reported a man who was passed out Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Officers were asked Friday at 7:58 p.m. by Amtrak personnel to assist with removing a woman from the train.

A headphone theft was reported at a First Street business Friday at 8:07 p.m.

Officers were asked at 10:10 p.m. Friday to perform a welfare check on someone on 17th Street West.

Officers were called at 12:09 a.m. Saturday to assist with a fight in the parking lot of a First Street establishment and the incident was resolved peacefully.

Sean Hisbadhorse of Havre, 30, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and endangering the welfare of children, and Isaiah Ross Bigday was arrested on a charge of endangering the welfare of children after a caller on 10th Street West reported that someone was trying to get into the residence at 12:49 a.m. Saturday.

Officers investigated a 1:28 a.m. Saturday report that a man who had been kicked out of one First Street establishment came to the caller's establishment and broke some items.

Colin Thomas Silverthorn of Havre, 20, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence refused to test, stop sign violation, minor in possession and a traffic crime after a vehicle stop on First Street West at 12:06 a.m. Sunday.

Larae Ann Sunchild of Havre, 42, was arrested on a trespass to property charge when officers assisted Havre Fire Department at a fire in a First Street alley Sunday at 8:06 a.m.

A caller reported that two pit bull looking dogs attacked the caller's dog at 12:43 p.m. Sunday on Third Street.

Valerie Rose Knoll of Havre, 51, was issued a summons on a dog at large charge after a caller at Fourth Street and Second Avenue reported an aggressive dog Sunday at 2:43 p.m.

Raymond Windyboy of Box Elder, 61, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a Ninth Avenue caller reported a man trying to sell drugs and not leaving the caller alone Sunday at 3:34 p.m.

A First Avenue caller reported Sunday at 7:46 p.m. that a burglary had occurred a couple hours prior.

Matthew Michael Converse of Havre, 46, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller reported a man yelling in the alley behind Town Square Sunday at 10:29 p.m.

Dean Lavern Stiffarm Jr. of Harlem, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at 12:31 a.m. Monday at Hill County Detention Center.

Car keys were reported found on Wilson Avenue Monday at 3:23 a.m.

--

A vehicle crash was reported on Lincoln Avenue at 7:48 a.m. Monday.

--

A Monday 10:16 a.m. caller on First Avenue reported that someone had been in their backyard the previous night and had stolen items.

Raymond Windyboy of Box Elder, 61, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a First Street West business caller reported a man passed out on the property at 3:58 p.m. Monday.

Joshua Robert Graham of Havre, 32, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a Monday 4:43 p.m. caller reported finding a stolen bike at a pawn shop.

Officers assisted after a caller on 13th Street West reported a little boy without shoes walking down the street crying at 6:07 p.m. Monday.

--

A hit and run crash was reported on Eighth Avenue Monday at 9:15 p.m.

Kaleb Emanuel Freyholtz of Hingham, 33, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, habitual traffic offender and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a Justice or City court warrant after a Ninth Avenue West caller reported a vehicle parked along the street and people peeping into windows Monday at 11:38 p.m.

Lawrence Eugene Brown of Fort Myers, Florida, 61, was arrested on charges of DUI refused to test, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and failure to produce vehicle insurance and on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at 12:08 a.m. today reported a man passed out in a running vehicle on First Street West.

Hill County Sheriff's Officer

Someone stopped at the sheriff's office Friday at 11:21 a.m. and reported a theft, forgery or fraud.

An assault was reported Friday at 6:51 p.m. on 123rd Avenue East.

--

A Friday 8:49 p.m. report that a vehicle struck a cow was referred to another law enforcement agency.

--

A vehicle theft was reported at 9:58 p.m. Friday at a Box Elder establishment.

--

Taneal Raschae Sutherland of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants served Friday at 10:28 p.m. at a Box Elder establishment.

An 11:41 p.m. Friday caller asked deputies to perform a welfare check on someone on County Road 462 West.

--

Deputies assisted Havre Fire Saturday at 8:34 p.m. on 36th Street Southeast.

--

A summons was issued after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 East reported a complaint about a woman who had returned to the residence Sunday at 4:01 a.m.

--

Vandalism was reported at a north side business Sunday at 7:10 p.m.

--

Deputies investigated a Sunday 8:03 p.m. report of a man threatening people with a gun at a Box Elder establishment.

--

A noise complaint was reported on 65th Avenue Northwest at 9:09 p.m. Sunday.

--

Monday at 7:06 a.m., the first of several complaints was reported about horses loose along U.S. Highway 87 between Laredo and Box Elder.

--

A Monday 3:07 p.m. caller at Fresno Reservoir reported a person on a raft in the middle of lake was yelling for help. The caller phoned back and reported that a boater was going out to help the person.

A 10:41 p.m. Monday report of a vehicle in the ditch near mile marker 372 on U.S. Highway 2 West was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

--

Deputies assisted Havre police Monday at 11:42 p.m. on Ninth Avenue West.

--

James Tino White of Box Elder, 31, was arrested on charges of burglary, theft from buildings and vandalism after a burglar alarm service reported an activated alarm at a Box Elder establishment at 5:19 a.m. today.

Montana Highway Patrol

Two vehicle crashes with injuries were reported on U.S. Highway 2 West Monday. Troopers responded at 4:51 p.m. to a crash near mile marker 368 and one person was transported to the hospital, and they responded at 10:45 p.m. to a crash reported near mile marker 372. Troopers were not available by print deadline to provide information on either crash.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Monday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded with an ambulance to a 4:55 p.m. Monday report of a crash on U.S. Highway 2 West. Havre Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said one person was transported to the hospital.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two cats of unknown gender, four female cats, three male cats, a male 16-week-old kitten and a male 8-week-old kitten.

Also this morning the animal shelter held five female mixed-breed dogs, a female German shepherd, a male 22-week-old puppy, five 11-week-old puppies, a male 6-month-old puppy and a female 16-week-old puppy. Additionally, a male dog was being housed off-site.
