The North Star Speech and Drama Team traveled to a cold Havre invitational speech, drama and debate tournament Saturday and did well despite the weather.
In original oratory, Ecko Fraser took second and Savannah Schaumloeffel took third place.
In humorous interp, Joshua Campbell took second place and Troy Barrett placed fifth.
In dramatic solo, senior Emily Conner began her season with a first-place finish. Taking part in dramatic theatre, Christin Berton and Aspynn Cramer took first place, also.
