This past weekend, postseason volleyball began on the Hi-Line. The CJI Hawks were a highlight as they won the District 7C Tournament down in Fort Benton.
This past weekend in Fort Benton, the Chester-Joplin-Inverness volleyball team took home the District 7C volleyball championship. The Hawks started their run with a 3-0 win (25-9, 25-13, 25-7) over the Hays-Lodge Pole Thunderbirds to open the tournament.
The Hawks stayed hot in the quarterfinals as they defeated Centerville in five sets (25-17, 25-9, 12-25, 17-25, 15-8). In the semifinals, CJI defeated Fort Benton in three sets (25-22, 25-11, 25-20) to advance to the championship.
