Havre's Clara Laird has signed on with the Dickinson State University girls wrestling team and track and field team.
Havre High School's Clara Laird has announced that she has signed with the wrestling and the track and field teams for Dickinson State University. She is the first girl wrestler from Havre High to ever sign with a college program.
Laird has been a key force in the growth of female wrestling in the state of Montana. She was a member of the inaugural HHS girls wrestling team and competed in the first ever girls state wrestling tournament in Montana.
This past year during her junior season, Laird accumulated a record of 24-6 as she took second at the Girls State Wrestling Tournament. She was...
