Havre does well at large Browning speech meet

Havre took a team shrunk by conflicting events and other issues to a tournament heavy in Class A competition in Browning Saturday, and saw success from its competitors.

Some Class A western powerhouses crossed the divide to compete Saturday, in addition to tough competition from north-central Class BC schools and a team from Class B Eureka, which also crossed the divide to compete.

Along with Havre and host Browning, Class A saw teams from Columbia Falls, Whitefish, Bigfork, Libby, Polson, Ronan and Stevensville.
