Water main work closing part of Second Street West

The water main that will be shut off today as Havre Public Works continues to repair a break in the main is highlighted in blue. Water will be off to the areas served by the main and people are asked to plan different routes to avoid the work on Second Street West from Montana Avenue to Third Avenue West.
The City of Havre Public Works Department announced it will be continuing repairs to a broken water main and replacing valves that effect that main tomorrow today, Nov. 21.
The affected areas include Second Street West from Montana Avenue to Third Avenue West.
This will cause the water to be off in the areas fed by the main, highlighted in the included photo.
People are asked to plan accordingly and also plan to take a different route avoiding that part of Second Street West to get to their destinations so the department's service workers can complete the job safely and in a timely manner...
