GREAT FALLS - A Hays man who admitted to beating and seriously injuring a woman on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation was sentenced Tuesday to six years and eight months in prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich said.
The defendant, Avery Jordon Boe, 39, pleaded guilty in January to assault resulting in serious bodily injury.
Chief U.S. District Judge Brian M. Morris presided.
