Tournament season has come to local golf, and for mer personally, it always starts with an event nearest and dearest to my heart.

Saturday at Prairie Farms Golf Course, the annual Golfing for a Cure Tournament will be held. And having participated in it for many years, trust me, a great time will be had by all. But, this tournament is about so much more than a Scramble, or social fun. Golfing for a Cure is about raising money and awareness for that word we all hate: Cancer.
