Northstars sweep Chargers on Senior Night

It was a big senior day for the Havre Northstars American Legion baseball club.

On Friday night, the Northstars swept the Northern A Great Falls Chargers in a doubleheader at Legion Field.

Havre won game one 10-0 behind senior Terek Shipp's outstanding performance on the mound. He threw a four-hit shutout and also drove in a run at the plate.

The Northstars also dominated game two, 14-3. Havre scored four times in the bottom of the first inning. They scored three times in the second, three times in the third, and five times in the fourth after allowing three in the top of the inning.
