Work progressing to end water restrictions

Havre City Council heard an update Monday on the water restrictions in place in Havre, which have been eased, and on plans to permanently fix the issue.

Havre Public Works Director Trevor Mork and Water Treatment Plant Superintendent Amanda Vaughn talked about the issue during the council's meeting Monday in Havre City Hall.

The ban was issued July 19, effective that date, and would last until conditions change, the release said.

The ban prohibited most non-essential uses and restricts outdoor watering to hand watering only.
