Bear Paw Roundup a hit in Chinook

One of the biggest rodeo weekends of the entire summer took place last week in Chinook.

Last Thursday and Friday, the annual PRCA Bear Roundup was held as part of the Blaine County Fair.

Thursday night’s performance saw Ty Owens win the Bareback, Jaret Whitmen take first in Steer Wrestling, Brady Tryan and Calgary Smith win the Team Roping, Hunter Haskins and Liam Pauley tie in Saddle Bronc, Haven Meged win the Tie-Down Roping, Abigail Knight taking first in Varrell Racing and Brooklyn Berg and Joey Williams winning the Breakaway Roping.
