MSU-N cross country signs Box Elders standout

Montana State University-Northern Head Cross Country Coach Deborah Callahan has announced the signing of Makaela Kelly to join the cross country and distance track program in the fall.

"I'm very excited that Makaela is joining our team. She has a great attitude, work ethic and understands the importance of academics," said Coach Callahan.

Kelly is coming from Dakota Wesleyan University where she played basketball. Makaela is from Box Elder where she ran track and played basketball. In high school, their basketball team was state runner-up in 2022.
