44th Annual Black Powder Spring/Fall Shoot Held at Fort Assiniboine

Seventy-two shooters participated in the 44th annual Bullhook Bottoms Black Powder Club

Spring/Fall Shoot held Aug. 31 and Sept. 1-2 at historic Fort Assiniboine south of Havre.

The Spring Shoot normally held on Memorial Day weekend was canceled because of flooding and moved to Labor Day weekend. The weather was excellent for all three days. Shooting conditions would be rated as excellent. Shooters came from all parts of Montana with attendance down from 2023. Two new records were recorded this weekend.
