Blue Pony harriers race at home

The Havre High cross country teams were on home soil this past Saturday as they played host to the annual Havre Invitational at Prairie Farms Golf Course.

The Havre girls took home first place honors with 38 points as 13 teams took part in the event. The Havre boys finished fifth overall. The boys meet was captured by Poplar as 18 teams competed on the boys side.

Havre High's Hailey Gingery finished third individually with a 21:18.4 to lead the way for the Blue Ponies. Marley Springer and Ela Harbor took 10th and 12th place, respectively, followed by Gracie Shandorf and Paige Anderson nearly 1...
