Area sports return from winter break

This weekend will be a busy one for all the sports around the Havre area. With the holiday break now over, winter sports will kick into high gear.

The Montana State University-Northern men's and women's basketball teams will open Frontier Conference play on Saturday as the Lights and Skylights host Montana Western. The women's game will start at 2 p.m. followed by the men's game at the Armory Gymnasium.

Basketball also returns to the Havre High gymnasium on Saturday as the Blue Pony basketball teams host Laurel. The boys will play first followed by the HHS girls Saturday night.
