After winter storms knocked out the return to high school sports from some in the area last weekend, Havre High is anxious to finally return to action this weekend.
The Blue Pony wrestling team celebrated senior night with a dual against Glasgow on Tuesday night, and will return to tournament competition this weekend when the Ponies head to the Cut Bank Invitational. The two-day Cut Bank tourney is one Havre has won many times before, and the Ponies will be one of the top teams again this time around.
Last weekend saw the Blue Pony basketball doubleheader against Laurel in Havre wiped out due to poor travel conditions, so the Ponies will make their 2025 debut this weekend instead.
Both Havre High teams are home to host the Hardin Bulldogs on Friday night, while the HHS boys are also at home again on Saturday night when they host the Browning Indians. Havre's girls willl make the trek to Browning on Saturday.
Finally, the Havre High swim team is also excited to get into the water. Following the Holiday Break, Havre will get to host its first meet of the year. Saturday at the Havre Community Pool, the Blue Ponies welcome in Great Falls High and CMR for their annual Triangular. The meet starts at 12 p.m.
