If so, it is imperative that you check out I-177 which will appear on the Nov. 8 ballot. • Letter to the Editor: Juras best choice for Supreme Court

    Updated Sep 6, 2016

Editor, Kristen Juras is running for the Montana Supreme Court, and I support her wholeheartedly. If elected to the Court, Kristen will be the only justice with an extensive background in business, property rights, and agricultural law. She is a fourth generation Montanan, the only candidate for the Court with an agricultural background raised in a rural community, and the only candidate to file and litigate a water rights...

The Havre High cross country teams got their season underway this past Friday in Cut Bank, and the Blue Ponies had some runners put together some impressive individual performances. While the meet, which is called the Cut Bank Time Trials, does not calculate many team results, there were a number of teams competing in the event, which offered some stiff competition and a good indication where each team and runner is at, early in the season. For Havre, no one stood out more...

After notching career-highs in catches and rece...

    Chris Peterson|Updated Sep 6, 2016

The Havre High football team was looking forward to the challenge of playing a much-improved Hardin team on the road. Yet, it didn’t take long to see, for the Blue Ponies, it wouldn’t be much of a challenge at all. For the second straight week, behind a dominant running game and an unrelenting defense, the Blue Ponies battered their opponent into submission with an old-school style of football. And for the second straight week, Havre won because of it, this time besting the...
