The Charter Communications store stands on Second Street West Tuesday in Havre. Charter has announced the Havre store will close Oct. 28.
A spokesman for Charter Communications confirmed Tuesday that the company is closing its Havre retail store Oct 28, but internet, phone and television services will not be affected by the move and people can use telephone and internet to receive services and products.
A sign on the door of the Second Street West Charter store says the nearest store outside of Havre is in Great Falls.
Bret Picciolo, a regional Charter spokesman, said the Havre location does not receive much traffic as a retail outlet.
