Wednesday, June 28

Story Time, 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Activities will be up-cycle origami and puzzle contests. Free, and public is welcome.

Thursday, June 29

Field Day at Northern Agricultural Research Center, 6 miles southwest of Havre off U.S. Highway 87. Registration at 3 p.m., ag tours, 4 and 5:30 p.m., and barbecue, 7 p.m. All events are free.

Popcorn and a Movie, 7 p.m., showing "20th Century Women," Havre-Hill County Library. Popcorn provided. Free and open to the public.

Lego Time and Robotics, 3:30 - 5 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Free, and open to the public. For info, call 265-2123.

Friday, June 30

Block Party at Havre-Hill County Library, 10 a.m. - noon. This summer-long weekly activity is a time for the kids to play with blocks, Legos and other fun activities. Free and open to the public.

Saturday, July 1

6th Annual Big Sandy Pig Roast and SK8 Jam, 11 a.m. start, runs into evening, Big Sandy Skate Park. Free admission, prizes for skaters.

Tuesday, July 4

Fourth of July Festival, noon, Pepin Park. Public is invited to free barbecue, music, games, Montana Actors' Theatre performance and more.

Fourth of July Night Show public fireworks display, 10 p.m., Great Northern Fairgrounds.

North Central Montana Transit buses will not be running in observation of the holiday.

The Hi-Line Quilt Guild, Holiday Village Mall Community Center, 7 p.m.

Books and Babies, 10:15 a.m., Havre-Hill County Library. Free, and public is welcome.

Havre Jr. Rodeo Entries will be taken noon - 8 p.m. by calling 395-4441. A variety of events open to youth ages 4-18. No late entries will be accepted. Jr. Rodeo will be July 19, 5 p.m., Great Northern Fairgrounds.

KidsMAT Summer Theatre Camp, Malta, through July 13, for children K-8th grade, who will create their own story, set and costumes. Daily 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., with a last-day performance, 7 p.m. Registration $50 for the first child and $30 for each additional family member. The North Central Hangar of the Montana Pilots Association monthly meeting, 7:30 p.m., terminal, Havre City-County Airport.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
