The Northern C Division is always one of the most talented in all of Class C basketball and even though it wasn't represented in the state championship game this season, it's still loaded with good players and good teams. That makes earning All-State honors in the Northern C extremely difficult. It also makes the 14 players who were given that distinction, the best of the best along in the region that stretches from Hays-Lodge Pole to the outskirts of Great Falls. When it...

    Updated Mar 13, 2018

Friends and Neighbors Yes, the Great Northern Fair is on the rocks and yes, something needs to be done and I’m confident the community will rise to the occasion. The status of the Great Northern Fair is but one symptom of a much larger problem that Havre and the Hi-Line face. There is little to no growth, Havre has the same p...

  • Letter completely wrong about Snider

    Updated Mar 13, 2018

The following is my personal opinion and not that of Montana State University-Northern nor any of its other employees. The Feb. 28 letter claims Snider has never written anything positive about Northern in HDN. A quick look at the archives shows that this is the first of many false claims the letter makes. For a comprehensive list of Snider’s many...
