Comets pick up a split against Glasgow


The Havre Comets picked up a split against the Glasgow Reds in a non-conference doubleheader in Glasgow. After falling 7-2 in the opener, the Comets rallied in the second game to notch a 9-8 win.

The Comets jumped out to a 5-2 lead after the first two innings to set the tone early. Jordon Patterson had a single, a double and three RBIs in the first two innings while Coda Tchida and Bret Magelssen each added RBI singles.

Glasgow rallied against Comet starter Trent Normandy in the bottom of the third, scoring five runs three hits with the big blows being a pair of doubles from Michael Souther...
