The Bears knocked off the Sugarbeeters 65- 37 to tighten the race in the 9C between all four aforementioned schools. Friday night was also a good night for the Chester/J-I Hawks. The Hawks crushed Sunburst 46-29 to stay in first place in District 10C. Meanwhile, in Glasgow, the Harlem Wildcats suffered a heartbreaking 49-48 loss. Harlem played well for the entire game, but the Scotties were able to pull the important 2B game out in the closing minute. Hypatia Getten and Jasmine Dumas combined for 30 points for the Wildcats with Getten scoring 20 and Dumas 10. No box scores were reported from Friday night's games. There were plenty of postponed games due to Saturday's blizzard which swept through the area.
