Pepsi Youth Challenge coming to Hi Line Lanes

The Pepsi Youth Challenge Phase 2 will be Jan. 14-27. To qualify you must bowl in a B.P.A.A. House. Hi Line Lanes is a member and shifts will be run on Saturday Jan. 15. and Jan. 22. More shifts will be added if necessary. More information will be available on request.

PBA results: A crafty left hander 48 years old from South Korea, Yong Chin Gu, beat fellow countryman Jun-Yung Kim 236 – 224 in the championship match to conquer the Scorpion pattern. This week the bowlers will be bowling on the Shark oil pattern, the hardest of all patterns.

TIP OF THE WEEK: Emotional "The excellence of anyone's game depends on self control," Alex Morrison, Author. Emotional reactions to life and to bowling are far more a choice than most athletics are ever aware of. Most Bowlers can plan ahead of time how they intend to react to life, strikes, and missed shots. You must have a clear intention around your emotional behavior before you start practicing and going into competition. This is a huge step on the path to mastery.
