The following cases were resolved by Havre City Judge Virginia Seigel in June.

Timothy Michael Koop Jr., born in 1987, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for assault.

A man born in 1998, who was 17 at the time he was charged, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for contempt. In a later case, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail for a separate charge of contempt. In a subsequent case, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail for another charge of contempt. In a fourth case, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail for another charge of contempt, no fine or sentence listed.

Alanna Jo Stanley, born in 1988, was ordered to pay $28 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 132 days suspended and 48 credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense, amended from second offense.

Joel Wilson Blackelk 3rd, born in 1988, was ordered to pay $9 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for theft of lost or mislaid property.

Jed Thomas Bengston, born in 1983, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, all suspended, for negligent endangerment, amended from driving under the influence, first offense.

Michael Joseph Welch, born in 1998, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for contempt.

——

Kenneth Scott Row, born in 1967, was sentenced to 365 days in jail, 286 days suspended and 79 credited, for aggravated DUI and was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Thomas Richard Knedlik, born in 1984, was fined $45, ordered to pay $125 restitution and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct, amended from assault.

Peyton Aldine Flynn, born in 1993, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for careless driving.

Fredrick Anthony Tidzump, born in 1983, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended and four credited, for criminal contempt.

——

Corissa Crystal White, born in 1997, was fined $100 for careless driving.

——

Amber Lee Wells, born in 1980, was fined $100 for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

——

Angela Rose Newfield, born in 1963, was fined $100 and sentenced to 20 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct. In a later case, Newfield was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct.

Veronica Lynn Huntley, born in 1994, was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct. In a later case, Huntley was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Patricia Marie Haney, born in 1958, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for privacy in communications, first offense.

——

Matthew Isaiah Baer, born in 1984, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 87 days suspended and 93 credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense. In a later case, Baer was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 364 days suspended and one credited, for partner or family member assault, causing apprehension of injury.

A girl born in 1999 was fined $500 for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense and was found not guilty of right of way violation.

Barbara Fisk Johnson, born in 1943, was ordered to pay $3.50 restitution and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 150 days suspended and 30 credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense, and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal mischief, pecuniary loss less than $1,500.

Crystal Dawn Horn, born in 1972, was found guilty after a bench trial of charges of driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so was suspended or revoked and displaying fictitious or altered license plates. No fine or sentence was listed.

Willis Evon Clayborn, born in 1984, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days credited, for disorderly conduct. In a later case, Clayborn was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct.

Keenan Travis Blackbird, born in 1997, was fined $300 for minor in possession, over age 18, first offense. In a later case, Blackbird was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for criminal trespass to vehicles and was fined $300 for MIP, over 18, first offense.

Michael Thomas Rider, born in 1982, was fined $500 for owner permitting operation of vehicle without insurance, second offense, amended from first offense.

——

Nicole Lynn Brown, born in 1985, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for resisting arrest.

——

Brandy Marie Azure, born in 1974, forfeited $250 bond for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

——

A boy born in 1999 was fined $300 for MIP, under 18, third offense.

——

Jeana Lucero Granados, born in 1991, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight days suspended and two credited, for disorderly conduct.

——

Joseph Hershiel Latray III, born in 1986, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 155 days suspended and 25 credited, for criminal trespass to property and was fined $100 for open container.

Winona Ida Lamere, born in 1964, was fined $85 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 150 days suspended and 30 credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense.

Sara Rae Comp, born in 1993, was fined $100 for animals running at large.

——

A girl born in 2001 was fined $900 for MIP, under 18, first offense.

——

A girl born in 2001 was fined $300 for MIP under 18, first offense.

——

A girl born in 2000 was fined $500 for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. In a later case, she was fined $500 for another charge of driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Charla Magdalena Terry, born in 1981, was given a deferred imposition of sentenced and fined $100 for operating a vehicle with expired registration.

——

Jason Edward Hammers, born in 1982, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for electronic communications device usage while driving.

——

Eric James Tadej, born in 1987, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100, ordered to pay $303 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal mischief, pecuniary loss less than $1,500.

Kim Allen Norquay Sr., born in 1958, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 90 days suspended and 20 credited, for criminal trespass to property.

Joseph Curry Braaten, born in 1984, was fined $135 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Richard Jesus Lujan, born in 1995, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for MIP, over 18, first offense.

Janna Lea Chavez, born in 1964, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license and was fined $150 for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Thomas Matthew Dess, born in 1955, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia and was given a deferred imposition of sentence and sentenced to 10 days in jail, six days suspended and four credited, for disorderly conduct.

Jennifer Leigh Atchison, born in 1984, forfeited $150 bond for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance.

Ryan Richard Bedwell, born in 1975, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, all days suspended, for no motorcycle endorsement.

Gregory Lee Rainingbird, born in 1963, was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, seven days suspended and three credited, for disorderly conduct and fined $100 for open container.

Ricky John Clark Jr., born in 1995, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for speeding, 28 mph in a 15 mph zone.

Desiree Lynn Hauerwas, born in 1985, was fined $100 and sentenced to two days in jail, all days credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Matthew Ryan Payne, born in 1997, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license and was fined $250 for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Adrian James Roastingstick, born in 1981, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and was fined $150 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight days suspended and two credited, for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense.

Donna Sue Meyers, born in 1945, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for criminal trespass to property.

Justin Robert Horning, born in 1984, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for speeding, 35 mph in a 25 mph zone.

Jason Douglas Pollington, born in 1980, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Clay Thomas Barnett, born in 1996, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for speeding, 35 mph in a 25 mph zone.

Shawn Robert Huse, born in 1972, forfeited bond, amount not listed, for operating a vehicle with expired registration.

Taneal Raschae Sutherland, born in 1994, was fined $2,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 360 days suspended and two credited, for DUI, first offense, and was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for each of two charges: driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and endangering the welfare of a child, first violation.

Crysteen Rose Belgarde, born in 1991, was given a deferred imposition of sentence, fined $100 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, all days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Jeremiah Israel Dementrie Davis, born in 1998, was given a deferred imposition of sentenced, fined $100 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, all days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license and was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Nicolette Lailoni Morsette, born in 1980, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and was fined $150 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight days suspended and two credited, for failure to carry or exhibit proof of insurance.

Brittany Ann Bonner, born in 1983, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for licensee or employee selling an alcoholic beverage to a person under 21.

Carla Joan Lyons, born in 1953, was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $100 for selling or providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years old.

Darrel Michael Duboi, born in 1990, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for driving while privilege to do so suspended or revoked and was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, eight days suspended and two credited, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Mary Ruth Demontiney, born in 1961, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 28 days suspended and two credited, for open container and was fined $25 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, nine days suspended and one credited, for disorderly conduct.

Roger Lee Wells, born in 1954, was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, all days suspended, for open container and was sentenced to 10 days in jail, seven days suspended and three credited, for disorderly conduct.

In June, Judge Seigel also dealt with 45 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, as well as 37 charges that were dismissed by her or the prosecution. Seigel dismissed 13 charges due to lack of jurisdiction, and another six cases were deferred by the prosecution.
