Ice Hawks drop games in Missoula

The Havre Ice Hawks high school hockey team hit the ice this past weekend, on the road in Missoula, where Havre played both Friday and Saturday.

The result however, wasn’t pretty, as Missoula won both games easily. The first game went to Missoula by the score of 6-0. That was Friday. The second game was played Saturday and Havre also failed to score in that one, losing to Missoula 7-0.

In the first game between the two teams Friday, it was close into the second period, when Havre trailed just 1-0. But four goals in the period for Missoula broke the game wide open. The Bruins added another in the third period to make the final 6-0.

Saturday, Missoula again got off to a fast start, grabbing a 2-0 lead after the first period of play. The Bruins added three more goals in the second and two in the third to win 7-0. Havre is 0-6 on the season. The Ice Hawks will be on the ice again this Saturday in Glasgow.
