HYBA tournaments continue next week

School is out, and that means baseball season in and around Havre is now in full swing.

And next week, Havre will continue its city tournament season with a pair of Havre Youth Baseball Association championships to be decided.

While the HYBA Majors wrapped up their postseason last weekend at Lions Field, the Minors and Babe Ruth titles are still up for grabs.

The Minors will play their tournament Monday through Thursday at Elks Park. The tournament will feature every team in Minors, and will run through Thursday's championship game.

Next week also marks the end of the city Babe Ruth league. The Babe Ruth tournament will run Tuesday through Friday at Legion Field, with the championship game set for Friday night.

Even after the Babe Ruth tournament ends Friday, the Babe Ruth action will keep going in Havre next weekend, with the Montana 14U State Tournament to be held next Friday-Sunday. The tourney will feature teams from across Montana.

Havre is also home to several more tournaments later this summer, including 12U All-Star State Tournament July 5-8 and the 17U/19U State Tournament July 6-8.
