Outdoors: Hunting on the Hi-Line is now in full swing

General antelope and pheasant season opened last Sunday, with deer and elk season set to open Oct. 20.

The air is turning colder and we've even seen some snow here and there. So, that no doubt signals that hunting season on the Hi-Line, and across Montana is now in full swing.

Last weekend, the general antelope season get underway, and now, we're just one week away from the start of the general deer and elk seasons.

Here's a look at some important dates that hunters should know about as hunting season kicks into high gear.

For antelope, the 900 series runs until Nov. 11, while archery season is now closed. The general antelope season also runs until Nov. 11.
