Letter to the Editor - Thanks to people who took care of Robert Gopher

The family would like to take this time to thank Dr. Varghese Parambi of Great Falls, Dr. Mohammed Kanaan of the Sletten Cancer Center in Havre and Tonya Paulsen, the director of the Dialysis Unit at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre for their care of our brother Robert for the past 12 months.

Thank you to the Rocky Boy Health Board Transportation Department for providing our brother rides to and from his appointments. Thank you to Merle Tendoy, Alvin Windy Boy Sr., Jonathan and Sam Windy Boy for their cultural service. Thank you Pastor Linda Webster for use of the church for the wake and feast, for you and Marvin Russette and your many prayers. Thank you Chippewa Cree Tribe for the funeral financial assistance and the burial, Rocky Boy Schools for the memorial cards and Holland & Bonine for the funeral arrangements.

Finally, many thanks to all of the many friends and relatives who prayed for our brother, offered condolences, called and provided assistance, the cooks & servers, all the people who brought food, gave a hug, and a kind word, the fire keepers and those who sat with the family. Our prayers and sincere appreciation go to you all and to those we may have not have mentioned.
