Rocky Boy, Harlem players earn Class B basketball honors

In Class B basketball on the Hi-Line, both the Rocky Boy Stars and Harlem Wildcats had highly succussful seasons.

The Stars won a District 1B championship, finished second at the Northern B and fourth at the state tournament. The Harlem girls had historic wins in both the District 2B championship game, and the Northern B championship game, and also qualified for their first-ever Class B state tournament.

So, it's no surprise that both the Harlem girls and Rocky Boy boys received plenty of postseason accolades, as the 1B and 2B All-Conference teams were released earlier this week.

Rocky Boy's Jordan Tyner earned Fist-Team All-Conference honors for the Stars. The list also included former Havre Blue Pony Tanner Parsons. On the 2B boys All-Conference list, Harlem's Lane Allen earned First-Team honors, while R.J. Ramone was named to the Second Team.

On the girls 2B list, Harlem's L'Tia Lawrence earthed First-Team honors and was voted Class B All-State for the second straight season. Senior Skylee Dirden was also on the First Team and was also named Class B All-State. Harlem freshman Taya Trottier was named 2B Second Team All-Conference as well.

Rocky Boy's Sasha Coffee and Rochelle Pease were both named to the 1B girls Second-Team All-Conference.
