Havre Police Department

Julian Capion of Havre, 24, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, after a 13th Street West caller reported three people fighting outside Thursday at 9:18 a.m.

Officers performed a civil standby Thursday at 2:47 p.m. on Sixth Street.

Nelson Travis Alexander of Box Elder, 54, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a caller at a First Street business reported at 7:23 p.m. Thursday that a shoplifter had left the store and headed east.

At 9:14 p.m. Thursday, a caller at a First Street business reported a prior theft.

Nelson Travis Alexander of Box Elder, 54, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported Thursday at 11:38 p.m. that a man on a bike and wearing a camouflage coat and orange hat tried to steal beer.

An arrest was made after a 12th Street caller reported at 5:11 a.m. today that someone had broken out a bedroom window with a baseball bat. No details on the charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a lost wallet at 1:25 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies conducted a transfer of evidence at 1:40 p.m. Thursday at the sheriff's office.

Steven Sidney Englehardt of Havre, 71, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, and Rebecca Marie McConnell of Havre, 25, was arrested on a Justice of City court warrant by deputies investigating a disturbance at a 34th Street Southeast business Thursday at 5:10 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

The fire crew was mistakenly dispatched to the hospital campus on 13th Street at 11:40 a.m. Thursday after the maintenance crew made a report of a minor gas leak that they had found and fixed.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a male 9-month-old kitten, eight female cats and two male cats.

The shelter also held a 10-month-old male mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a male Labrador retriever, two female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a female mixed-breed dog.
