Lights basketball inks Missoula Loyola star

Montana State University-Northern men's basketball coach Shawn Huse has announced the signing of a prep standout from his hometown. Will Burns, a 6-0 point guard signed with the Lights last week.

Burns was a First Team All-Conference selection this past season and led the Western B in scoring at 18.8 points-per game. He also dished out 4.5 assists per game while averaging 3.5 steals and 3.2 rebounds per outing for the Rams. For his efforts at the HIT All-Class tournament hosted by MSU-N at Havre High School earlier this Spring, the coaches tabbed Will with All-Star honors.
