Evelyn S. Spangelo, 87, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at the Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes. Evelyn was the widow of the late Havre attorney Waldo N. Spangelo who died in 1998. They were married more than 50 years. Cremation has taken place and her memorial service will be held this spring, on May 22, 2009. Tester introduced Schweitzer during a hearing of the Joint Economic Committee, which examined the Iraq war's impact on rising health care costs for veterans, a release from Tester's office said. FORSYTH (AP) A Colstrip Marine who was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan was remembered Saturday as a "hero" who was "always in the front" during his duties in the military.
