    The jury trial of a Havre man accused of sexually molesting a 15-year-girl with a cognitive disability began Monday morning, with jury selection taking most of the day and opening statements not being delivered until after 3:30 p.m. Joseph E.     Work will begin soon on the reconstruction of the Bullhook stormwater system which runs through Havre, much of it covered by buildings and pavement.   • Sheriff's office hires new deputies

    The Hill County Sheriff's Office has hired two new deputies, Sean Richardson, 25, and Brenton Beard, 24. Richardson is a Havre native who has served with the Rocky Boy Police Department for five years. He received his training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Artesia, New Mexico.     Havre residents will not be voting on a street reconstruction program in this November’s elections, Mayor Tim Solomon made a last-ditch attempt to get a proposal on the Nov. 8 ballot that would approve a 75 mill levy for 20 years to begin work on the city’s streets as soon as possible.     One person was killed Monday afternoon in a rollover crash outside Big Sandy. The Chouteau County coroner had not released the name of the victim by print deadline this morning. Montana Highway Patrol says the vehicle was traveling west on Montana Secondary Highway 432 at 5:30 p.m. when it veered off the right side of the road at the 15.6 mile mark.
