  • Student Congress gives school clean water fountain

    Havre High School Student Congress installed a distilled water bottle fountain at their school to keep students hydrated. The EZ H2O Bottle Filling Station dispenses distilled water as an alternative to the public water fountains placed throughout the school. Lita Cammon, who is a part of Student Congress, said the fountain will eliminate some of the plastic that comes out of the school in garbage.     Attendees of Montana State University-Northern's Veterans Day ceremony Wednesday honored the sacrifices of veterans and their families.     Ruth Burleigh has a passion for helping people with diabetes. As coordinator of the diabetes program at Fort Belknap Indian Reservation, she organized several programs to help people in that community which is plagued with diabetes. The most massive effort was the Tour de Cure that was held between Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation and Havre last summer.
