Monday, Oct. 24

Last Minute Table Runner, a Community Ed class on making a holiday table runner, starts this day 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $25. For information and preregistration, contact Community Education at communityed@blueponyk12.com or 395-8550, ext. 6716.

Tuesday, Oct. 25

The Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club will meet at 2 p.m. in the Timmons Room at the Hill County Courthouse. After the meeting, Jody Olson will do a program on decorating with gourds. Refreshments will be served, and guests are welcome. For more information, call 265-2133.

Hill County Democratic Party will meet at 7 p.m. at the Eagles Club.

Havre Community Pool will be holding Red Ribbon Swim on Tuesday, October 25 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Wear a red ribbon and swim for free! For further information call 265-5781.

Auditions for the male and female roles in Montana Actors’ Theatre production of “12 Angry Men/12 Angry Women” are at 7 p.m. in the Little Theatre in Cowan Hall on the Montana State University-Northern campus.

NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the basement at 921 Third St. For more information, call Crystal at 406-879-6646.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

Hill County Conservation District Legislative Dinner starts in the MSU-Northern SUB Ballroom with a no-host mingler at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. for $25. For more information and reservations, call 265-6792, ext. 101.

Bears Paw Babes will meet at Grateful Bread at 11:30 a.m. Guests are welcome.

Open skating at Havre Ice Dome, south end of 5th Avenue, will be 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Books and Babies is at 10:15 a.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Story Time is at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. McGruff the Crime Dog will be at both sessions in celebration of Red Ribbon Week. The event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Thursday, Oct. 27

The Annual Spooktaclular Glow Run or Walk hosted by Rocky Boy Elementary School will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rocky Boy High School track. Students must be accompanied by an adult.

Pizza Hut fundraiser for RezQ Dogs will be all day today with 20 percent of all purchases going to help with the dog shelter's flood recovery efforts. Customers just have to mention RezQ Dogs.

Havre Middle School Fall Choir Concert will start at 7 p.m. in the HMS assembly room. The theme includes social media and an anti-bullying message presented by the sixth-grade and seventh- and eigth-grade choirs, along with special singing groups. Admission is free.

"Evil Dead, The Musical," a Montana Actors' Theatre adult comedy, will be showing at 8 p.m. at MSU-Northern's Little Theatre. The doors and Backstage Lounge will open at 7:30 p.m. Cost of tickets is $20 for adults, $15 for students, seniors and military, and free to MSU-N students with ID. Special "splash-zone" seating is an added $5 for the survival kit.

Havre Jaycees Haunted Hotel Oakland will open at 7 p.m. above the Eagles Club, 202 First Street. Cost is $5 or $4 with a nonperishable food item. Food is donated to Havre Food Bank and money raised goes to Koats for Kids project.

Thursday Night Movies at Havre-Hill County Library will be showing "The Big Short" at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided. Library events are free and open to the public.

Dancing at the North Central Senior Center at 2 2nd St. W. begins at 7 p.m.

Lego Time and Robotics will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 265-2123.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
