Monday, July 6

Havre Jr. Rodeo call-in entry will be 6 to 9 p.m. this day. The rodeo will be Wednesday, July 15. To enter, call 395-4441. Other entry days are posted in this calendar.

A Fossil Festival organizational meeting will begin at

7 p.m. at Boxcars. Anyone interested in helping is encouraged to attend. For more information, call Margie at 265-7721.

Kicks @ 6 summer concert series begins at 6 p.m. at Pepin Park with Sax Cadillac & the Other Brothers & Sistas playing an Elvis tribute show, "All Shook Up."

The Hi-Line Quilt Guild meets the first Tuesday of the month at the Holiday Village Mall Community Center at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, July 8

Sounds on the Square will be at Town Square from 6 to 8 p.m. with Plowed Under playing country/rock. Everyone is welcome to come join the fun.

Books and Babies is at 10:15 a.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Story Time is at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. The event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Thursday, July 9

Author Elizabeth Pilar will be at the Havre-Hill County Library at 7 p.m. discussing her book "A Blue Moon in China." She will have books available to purchase, but this is a free event and everyone is welcome. Light refreshments will be served.

Soccer pick-up games will be held this summer at Havre High School soccer fields Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Games are for any middle school and high school students and adults. 

Dancing at the North Central Senior Center at 2 2nd St. W. begins at 7 p.m.

Friday, July 10

Pachyderm Club will meet at noon at the Duck Inn Vineyard Room for a no-host luncheon. Guest speaker will be Chairman Andrew Brekke speaking about the convention and the fair booth. The public is welcome to attend.

A mindfulness meditation group will meet at 2 p.m. at the Book Exchange in the upper level of the Atrium, 220 3rd Ave. This is a free group and everyone is welcome. For those new to meditation instruction is provided. For more information call 406-217-5222.

Lego Time and Robotics will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 265-2123.

Sunday, July 12

Havre Art  Association "Art in the Garden Tour" of five gardens will be 1 to 4 p.m. Cost is $5 per person and tickets are on sale at High Plains Gallery, Artitudes, Cavalier's or at each garden the day of the show. For more information, call 265-4723.

Monday, July 13

The North Central Hangar of the Montana Pilots Association will hold its monthly meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. in the terminal at the Havre City-County Airport.

Friends of Beaver Creek Park monthly meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Van Orsdel United Methodist Church.

Tuesday, July 14

Havre Jaycees Demolition Derby packets are available for pickup at Holden's Hot Wheels in Havre, during business hours.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
