Havre Public Schools Native American Parent Meeting will meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library to speak on school topics and eat soup and bread.
Havre Public Schools 2nd Annual Barbecue for families with students enrolled in K-prep through 12th grade at Havre High by the main door 5:30 to 7 p.m. A choir concert will follow at 7:30 p.m.
The Hi-Line Quilt Guild meets the first Tuesday of the month at the Holiday Village Mall Community Center at 7 p.m.

Books and Babies and Story Time will be replaced with a trip to the Havre Fire Department. Meet at the library at 10:15 a.m. or 3:15 p.m. to walk to the fire station, or meet at the the station at 10:30 a.m. or 3:30 p.m. for Fire Prevention Week activities. The event is free, and everybody is welcome.
Hill County Democrats Pasma-Peck Dinner starts at 6 p.m. at the Havre Eagles Club with Gov. Steve Bullock and state auditor candidate Jesse Laslovich the featured speakers. The fundraiser, featuring a prime rib dinner, is $35 and $15 for those 18 and younger.

Fall Reading Series, featuring "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle" by Haruki Murakami, will be held at 7 p.m. at Havre-Hill County Library. April Snyder will be the discussion leader.

Monday, Oct. 12
Hunter Safety Course begins this day and runs through Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. each evening at Kennewash Hall at Stone Child College. The course is for prospective hunters 11 years and older.
