Obituary - Marjorie D. (Matthys) Petersen

Marjorie D. (Matthys) Petersen, 80, of Rudyard, died Oct. 5, at Northern Montana Care Center in Havre.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Inverness.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Sacred Heart.  Following burial at the Rudyard Cemetery, a luncheon will be held at the Rudyard Catholic Youth Center.  Arrangements by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester.

Memorials may be given to the  Gift of Life in Great Falls or donor's choice...

Marj is survived by three daughters, Janet Wendland of Richland, Washington, Karen Fisher of Rudyard and LeaAnn DiTommaso of Billings; two sons, Gene Petersen of Kalispell and Lyle Petersen of Rudyard; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Beverly Walker of Lincoln, Michele Foote of Helena, and Dick Matthys of Winnemucca, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, in 1993, and a sister, Kathleen Stark in 2007.
