Mat Corner stands Monday at 2nd Avenue and 2nd Street in Havre. The Have Public Schools board voted Monday to put the building, used for wrestling practice, up for sale, following the completion of upgrades to facilities at Havre High School including a new wrestling practice room.
The Havre Public School board voted Monday to put the Mat Corner building up for sale for an asking price of $185,000.
The estimated value of the property at 137 2nd St. was listed at $150,000 to $180,000.
The building was used to house wrestling practices for the middle school and high school. Since the new wrestling room was erected at the high school this year, the slightly dilapidated building stands empty.
"We no longer need it," said Andy Carlson, superintendent of Havre Public Schools. "It's fulfilled its purpose."
